European Conference: The New EU Concessions Directive on 25 March 2014 in Brussels
In December 2011, the European Commission adopted its proposals on the award of concession contracts, which are part of the overall modernization initiative of public procurement in the EU.

In the light of major reforms of EU public procurement law, the new rules for EU Concessions are now part of the regulatory framework for the selection, awarding and contracting of works and services concessions in both the ‘classic’ and ‘utilities’ sector. This year’s European Conference “The New EU Concessions Directive” will provide comprehensive insights and expert guidance on how to interpret and meet the new challenges arising from the new directive on concessions. Special focus will be given to Risk Transfer and Payment Mechanisms in Concessions as well as Practical Experiences with Procurement, Financing, Contracting and the Delivery of a Concession. Use this excellent opportunity to discuss your questions with our renowned speakers from the European Commission, Member States’ Authorities and experts from industry, private legal practice and academia.
